Fashion Week Trends 2016

If you've read my last blog (which you should), one of my six sickening tips to kill it on fashion week was to develop a killer model-status style. For those of you who want to achieve this, but have no idea how to, this is the blog for you! Since heading to castings and being in the madness, I've noticed and tried a few of the newest trends. Join me:

Chokers
Nineties babies represent...the chokers are in! Specifically black and denim. Seen on the Kardashians, Gigi Hadid and most of the Victoria's Secret angels, this grunge fad is back in style. I'm obsessed with this trend because it not only draws the attention to your face, but it's so basic to pair with any outfit.

High Waisted Denim
Whether it's pants, shorts or skirts, high waisted denim anything is an easy way to pair any color with your outfit and it makes you look super cute. High waisted clothing accentuates your hips and makes your tummy look super thin. My favorite looks are like these, I model after this vibe.

High Heel Boots
This is an obvious and basic must-have in the closet, but it's especially popular with models because they're super easy to run around in and they qualify as "heels." It's the best thing walking into a casting and being able to wear a confident boot heel to show off your killer walk. You can find cheaper options at H&M or Forever 21.

All Black Everything
It's that old ancient wisdom, when you wear black you look thinner. And this is totally true! As models, black is our number one color because it makes us look thin and it fits to our slim body types. It's also a really sexy color. Anything from that cute black mini skirt, dress or top, black is that best friend you can always rely on.

Natural Hair
Might I say that I think I'm killing this one! Natural hair is in. The look of waking up and stepping outside vibe is not only easy, but surprisingly edgy. The choppy, straight hair to the luscious beach waves. The more natural your hair can be, the better. In castings, they want you to be as minimal as possible and now they're letting your hair do the same. How simple is that!
